Effect

Each time your opponent Special Summons a monster(s): Roll a six-sided die, and return all of those Summoned monster(s) to the hand with a current Level that's the same as the result.

Effect #0

The activation of the card "Dice-Roll" itself can be performed at any time, except during the Damage Step.

The effect "When your opponent successfully Special Summons a monster: Roll a six-sided die, and if the result is the same as the Level of that Special Summoned monster, return that monster to the owner's hand" is an effect that creates a Chain Link. (It does not target.)

When you activate the card "Dice-Roll" in response to your opponent successfully Special Summoning a monster, you can also activate the effect "When your opponent successfully Special Summons a monster: Roll a six-sided die..." as part of the same Chain Link as the card's activation. (Even in this case, it cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)

If "Dice-Roll" is already face-up in your Spell & Trap Zone when your opponent successfully Special Summons a monster, the effect "When your opponent successfully Special Summons a monster: Roll a six-sided die..." must be activated and resolved each time. (This also activates during the Damage Step.)

If your opponent Special Summons multiple monsters on the same Chain, after that Chain resolves, the effect of "Dice-Roll" will activate as a new Chain for each time the opponent Special Summoned.
