The effect "any battle damage you take from battles involving your Normal Monsters becomes 0" is only applied when a Normal Monster controlled by the player who activated "Dragoons of Draconia" in their Pendulum Zone battles, and as a result, that player would take battle damage; that battle damage becomes 0. (Even if the effect "battle damage you take becomes 0" is applied, if your monster would be destroyed by battle, it is still destroyed by battle as normal.)
