Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; shuffle your Deck, then excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, destroy monsters on the field up to the number of "Spellbook" cards excavated, also, after that, place the excavated cards on the top of the Deck in any order.
The monster effect "This card gains 300 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it" is a Continuous Effect.
The monster effect "Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; shuffle your Deck, then excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, destroy up to that many monsters on the field, then place the excavated cards on top of the Deck in any order" is an Ignition Effect. (Detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card is a cost to activate this effect. This effect does not target.)
The process of "shuffle your Deck," the process of "excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, destroy up to that many monsters on the field," and the process of "place the excavated cards on top of the Deck in any order" are not treated as occurring simultaneously.
If one or more "Spellbook" cards are excavated by the process of "excavate the top 5 cards of your Deck, and if you do, destroy up to that many monsters on the field," you cannot choose to destroy zero monsters. (You must perform the process of destroying at least 1 monster.)
