Negate the effects of your opponent's Field Spells. Your opponent cannot place counters on cards on the field. Your opponent cannot target other monsters you control with card effects.
The effect of "Gate Blocker" is a Continuous Effect.
Your opponent cannot target other monsters you control with the effects of Monster, Spell, or Trap Cards. (Your opponent also cannot target face-down monsters you control.)
The effect "Counters cannot be placed on cards on the field" also only applies to your opponent.
The effect "The effects of your opponent's Field Spell Cards are negated" also negates the effects of Field Spell Cards that activate in your opponent's Graveyard.
