2 Level 4 Machine monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; add 1 Level 4 or lower Machine monster from your Deck or GY to your hand. When this face-up card leaves the field: You can target 1 Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster in your GY; Special Summon that target.
The monster effect of "①" is an Ignition Effect that activates on the field. (This effect does not target. To activate this effect, detach 1 Xyz Material from this card as a cost.)
The monster effect of "②" is a Trigger Effect that activates while in the Graveyard or while banished. (It targets 1 Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster in your Graveyard. It is an optional effect that can be activated when the "Gear Gigant X" itself, which is face-up in your Monster Zone, leaves the field and is sent to the Graveyard or is banished face-up due to battle or a card effect. It can also be activated during the Damage Step.)
If "Gear Gigant X" itself leaves the field due to the effect of a card activated as Chain 2 or higher, you cannot activate the monster effect of "②".
