Effect
Monsters cannot attack face-down Defense Position monsters, but can attack directly if all monsters their opponent controls are face-down Defense Position. All effect damage, and battle damage inflicted by monsters other than "Ghostrick" monsters, is halved.
【Regarding the ① effect】
This is an effect applied by this card while it is face-up in the Field Zone that does not create a Chain Link.
This effect is applied to both players' monsters.
【Regarding the ② effect】
This is an effect that does not create a Chain Link that is applied while this card is face-up in the Field Zone.
"Any effect damage either player takes is halved" is an effect applied to the damage itself (it is not an effect applied to a card).
"Monsters other than 'Ghostrick' monsters inflict half the battle damage to the player" is an effect applied to the monsters.
Even if multiple effects that halve battle damage or effect damage are applied, the damage is halved. (Another effect that halves damage is not applied to damage that has already been halved.)
