The monster effect of "Gimmick Puppet Magne Doll" is not classified as an Ignition Effect, Trigger Effect, Quick Effect, or Continuous Effect. (A Chain Link is not built when performing a Special Summon this way.)
If your opponent controls 1 or more monsters, and all monsters you control are face-up "Gimmick Puppet" monsters, you can Special Summon "Gimmick Puppet Magne Doll" via its own monster effect.
If you control a face-down Defense Position monster, you cannot Special Summon "Gimmick Puppet Magne Doll" via its own monster effect.
"Gimmick Puppet Magne Doll" is a Normal Summon monster. (Even if it has been sent to the Graveyard from the hand or Deck, it can be Special Summoned by the effect of "Monster Reborn".)
