If Summoned this way, banish this card when it leaves the field. You can only use the effect of "Interplanetarypurplythorny Beast" once per turn.
The monster effect of "Otherworldly Thorn-Purple Beast" is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard.
It is an optional effect that can be activated at the end of the Damage Step when "Otherworldly Thorn-Purple Beast" itself is already in the Graveyard, and another monster in your Monster Zone is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard.
You cannot activate the monster effect of "Otherworldly Thorn-Purple Beast" when "Otherworldly Thorn-Purple Beast" itself is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard.
The process "If this card Special Summoned by this effect leaves the field, it is banished" does not create a Chain Link. (This is also applied during the Damage Step.)
