Tribute Summoned monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects, also neither player can target them with card effects. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck.
【Regarding the ① effect】
This is an effect that does not create a Chain Link, applied by this card while it is face-up in the Spell & Trap Zone.
"Tribute Summoned monsters you control cannot be targeted by effects" is an effect applied to both players. "Cannot be destroyed by effects" is an effect applied to Tribute Summoned monsters you control. (Monsters unaffected by Spell effects can still be destroyed by card effects.)
Monsters that were Tribute Summoned (Set) in face-down Defense Position also become "cannot be targeted by effects, and cannot be destroyed by effects."
Monsters that were Tribute Summoned face-up and subsequently changed to face-down Defense Position also become "cannot be targeted by effects, and cannot be destroyed by effects."
Monsters that were Tribute Summoned before this effect began to be applied also become "cannot be targeted by effects, and cannot be destroyed by effects."
