This effect does not target.

This effect must be activated directly in response to the activation of a Spell/Trap card on the field, or the activation of a Spell/Trap/Monster effect on the field.

It can also be activated if the condition is met during the Damage Step.

When resolving this effect, perform the action of "detach 1 Xyz Material from this card." If you successfully detach, perform the action of "negate the effects of all other face-up cards currently on the field until the end of this turn." (These actions are treated as occurring simultaneously.)

At the time of resolution, the effects of all face-up cards on the field other than this card are negated. (The effects of cards that appear on the field after this effect is applied are not negated.)

If this card is in face-down Defense Position at the time of resolution, the effect is still processed as written in the text.
