Effect
When your opponent's monster declares an attack while they control 2 or more monsters: Target the attacking monster; negate that attack, and if you do, send 1 other monster they control to the Graveyard, then the targeted monster loses ATK equal to the original ATK or DEF (whichever is higher, your choice if tied) of the sent monster in the Graveyard.
This effect targets 1 face-up monster on your opponent's field (the "attacking monster").
You can select a face-down monster as the "1 other monster on your opponent's field."
If there are 2 or more monsters other than the attacking monster on your opponent's field, the player who activated "Surprise Box" chooses which monster to send to the Graveyard when resolving the effect.
The process of "negate that attack, and if you do, choose 1 other monster on your opponent's field and send it to the Graveyard" and the process of "then, the targeted monster loses ATK equal to the higher of the sent monster's original ATK or DEF" are not treated as happening simultaneously.
