Effect

When you take battle or effect damage while you control an "X-Saber" monster: Gain LP equal to the damage you took, and if you do, inflict the same amount of damage to your opponent, then you can add 1 "Saber" Spell/Trap Card or "Gottoms" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Saber Reflection" per turn.

First Effect

【Regarding the ① effect】

This effect can be activated during the Damage Step.

This effect can only be activated when (immediately after) you take battle or effect damage. If you take damage due to an effect activated as Chain 2 or higher, or if another process occurs after you take damage, you cannot activate this effect.

This effect can be activated even if you cannot perform the process of adding a card to your hand, such as when there are no cards in your Deck.

When resolving this effect, perform the "gain LP equal to the damage you took" process. If that recovery is successful, perform the "inflict that much damage to your opponent" process. If inflicting damage to your opponent is successful, you can then perform the "add 1 'Saber' Spell/Trap card or 1 'Gottoms' card from your Deck to your hand" process.

The process of gaining LP and the process of inflicting damage occur simultaneously. These processes and the process of adding a card to your hand do not occur simultaneously.
