FLIP: You can draw 2 cards, then discard 1 card. If this card is sent to the GY by a card effect: You can draw 1 card. You can only use 1 "Shaddoll Beast" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
【Regarding the ① effect】
This is a Trigger Effect that can be activated in the Monster Zone.
It can also be activated during the Damage Step (if this card is flipped face-up after being attacked but before damage calculation, it can be activated after damage calculation for that battle).
It can be activated when you have 2 or more cards in your Deck.
When resolving this effect, perform the "draw 2 cards" action, and if you successfully draw, then perform the "choose 1 card from your hand and discard it" action. (These actions do not occur simultaneously.)
【Regarding the ② effect】
This is a Trigger Effect that can be activated in the Graveyard.
It can be activated if the conditions are met during the Damage Step.
It cannot be activated if this card is sent to the Graveyard as a cost to activate a card's effect.
