You can also activate "Spellbook of Power" during Main Phase 2.
The targeted monster gains 1000 ATK until the end of this turn, and the effect marked with "●" is applied until the end of this turn.
The effect "● If that monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can add 1 'Spellbook' Spell Card from your Deck to your hand" is an effect that creates a Chain Link. (It does not target. It can be activated at the end of the Damage Step when that monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle.)
