Once per turn: You can shuffle 1 "Spellbook" Spell Card from your Graveyard into your Deck to target 1 face-up Spellcaster-Type monster on the field; increase its Level by 1 and its ATK by 500.
The monster effect of "Magical Exemplar" is an Ignition Effect.
This effect targets 1 face-up Spellcaster-Type monster in either player's Monster Zone. (You can target "Magical Exemplar" itself or a face-up Spellcaster-Type monster in your opponent's Monster Zone.)
You cannot target Xyz or Link Monsters that are Spellcaster-Type.
When activating the effect, you must shuffle 1 "Spellbook" Spell Card from your Graveyard into the Deck as a cost.
The increase in Level and ATK from the effect "increase its Level by 1 and it gains 500 ATK" remains applied as long as the targeted monster remains face-up in the Monster Zone.
