Effect
Target 1 Dinosaur-Type monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 1000 ATK. When that attacking monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can activate this effect; the equipped monster can make a second attack on an opponent's monster in a row.
The effect "①: You can target 1 Dinosaur monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 1000 ATK" is the effect applied when the card "Survival of the Fittest" is activated. (This effect targets 1 face-up Dinosaur monster in your Monster Zone.)
When activating the card "Survival of the Fittest" during the Damage Step, it must be done from the start of the Damage Step up to before damage calculation.
The effect "②: When the monster equipped with this card by this card's effect destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the GY: You can activate this effect; the equipped monster can make a second attack on an opponent's monster in a row" is an effect that creates a Chain Link. (It does not target.) The effect "the equipped monster can make a second attack on an opponent's monster in a row" is an effect that can be activated optionally at the end of the Damage Step when a monster equipped with "Survival of the Fittest" (which is treated as an Equip Card) attacks an opponent's monster and destroys it by that battle. If a monster equipped with "Survival of the Fittest" battles an opponent's monster with the same ATK and both are destroyed, you cannot activate the effect "the equipped monster can make a second attack on an opponent's monster in a row."
