The effect "If you control no monsters, your opponent's monsters cannot declare an attack" is an effect that does not create a Chain Link.

The effect "If you control a monster, or your opponent has 5 or more cards in their hand, this card is destroyed" is an effect that does not create a Chain Link. (This is also applied during the Damage Step.)

The effect "this card is destroyed" is applied and destroys this card not only when a monster is face-up in your Monster Zone, but also when a monster is face-down in your Monster Zone.

You can activate the card "Swords of Burning Light" even if you control a monster in your Monster Zone or your opponent has 5 or more cards in their hand. (In that case, once the resolution of the card's activation is complete, its own effect is applied immediately and it is destroyed.)
