You can activate this card when a WATER monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to your Graveyard.

You can only activate this card immediately after the monster is destroyed. If the monster was destroyed by an effect activated at Chain 2 or higher, or if another action occurred after the monster was destroyed, you cannot activate this card.

You can also activate this card during the Damage Step.

You can also activate this card when a face-down Defense Position WATER monster you control is flipped face-up by battle, then destroyed by that battle and sent to your Graveyard.

You cannot activate this card when a face-down Defense Position WATER monster you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to your Graveyard.

This effect does not target.

If one or more monsters are successfully Special Summoned by the effect "Special Summon all those monsters destroyed and sent to your Graveyard", the effect "inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each monster Special Summoned" is then applied. (These actions do not happen simultaneously.)
