When a face-up Xyz Monster you control is targeted for an attack: Target 1 Xyz Monster in your Graveyard; return that face-up attack target to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon this card's target from the Graveyard, and if you do, attach this card to it, as an Xyz Material.
This effect targets 1 Xyz Monster in your Graveyard.
You can activate this card not only when an Xyz Monster you control in face-up Attack Position is selected as an attack target when an attack is declared, but also when an Xyz Monster you control in face-up Attack Position is selected as an attack target due to a replay.
The effect "return that attack target Xyz Monster to the owner's Extra Deck" and the effect "then Special Summon the targeted monster from your Graveyard, and if you do, attach this card to it as an Xyz Material" are not performed simultaneously.
The effect "Special Summon the targeted monster from your Graveyard" and the effect "attach this card to it as an Xyz Material" are performed simultaneously. (The effect of "Xyz Revenge Shuffle" is considered to have finished resolving once the targeted Xyz Monster in the Graveyard is Special Summoned.)
